I’m Whitney, a 20-something living and loving in Santa Barbara, California. This is my blog featuring things that make me smile, which includes quilting, photography, food, drinks, crafts, interiors, fashion, travel, books, music, and more!

Originally from north San Diego County, I’ve also had brief stints in Phoenix, AZ, Hilo, HI, Baton Rouge, LA, Williamsburg, VA, Washington, DC, Perugia, Italy, Cambridge, England, and Los Angeles, CA. Since June 2009, I’ve been in Santa Barbara (okay, technically Goleta). I live with my boyfriend of over two years and work at the University of California, Santa Barbara. While I went to library school and got my MLIS from UCLA in 2008, I don’t work as a librarian right now (I still hope to, though!). I’ve been blogging in some form or another since 2001 and love working on websites.
