My Card Catalog

So, my boyfriend is awesome and bought me this card catalog off eBay for my 26th(!) birthday. It comes straight from the Cal State San Bernardino library and held catalog cards for the music collection. We salvaged two drawers of cards — the popular music drawer and the 78s drawer!

There are lots and lots of cards for music from pre-1980, like Fleetwood Mac’s Rumours!

I’m planning to do something with the cards, I just haven’t decided what yet. For now, I threw a few in a frame for decoration purposes. And I’m playing around with what to display on top. It’s sitting in our dining room, which is really just an extension of the living room and used mostly for sewing.

As for the drawers, they’re the perfect size for wine bottles and for storing assorted sewing supplies.
