Halloween Dreaming

Looks like I’ll be staying at home, passing out candy for Halloween. It should be fun — look forward to seeing all the kid’s costumes and it’s been years since I’ve done it. I’ll probably throw on something from our costume box, but what I’d really like to be is Mrs. Peacock from Clue. So, I put together this ensemble on Polyvore!

Hair for Oil Spills

I got my hair cut today, but not enough to donate to a place like Locks of Love. Instead, the hair stylist told me that the salon can donate shorter hair to clean up oil spills. What?! So, I looked it up when I got home and sure enough, there’s an organization called Matter of Trust that uses hair to make mats that soak up oil. Craziness.
